This is a true story of base ball player who amagt famous. As a shameless fan of Rod, you know I will not miss the opportunity to give some to storm my love, especially when prompted by others. After Andre Johnson caught a touchdown before halftime of the Texans-Ravens Monday night game, analyst and former coach Jon Gruden began to praise Miami.
Introduce what appears to be part prepared by ESPN, Chucky says that 2001 Miami team was the best football team ever in college.
He pointed out how 38 of the 89 players on the team that designed, including 17 in the first round. They showed the team photo and place-shadow Andre Johnson and Ed Reed (both were playing in the game Monday night) and mentioned Willis McGahee, who also played in the game. Other running backs on that Miami team was Frank Gore, Clinton Portis, and Najeh Davenport. Besides Andre Johnson, Santana Moss, Jeremy Shockey, and Kellen Winslow II caught passes from Ken Dorsey. Defensive stars including Jonathan Vilma, D.J. Williams, Vince Wilfork, and Antrel Rolle and Sean Taylor as a backup.
Gruden said he expects him some players on the team and that's why he came out of a job. Then he entered the final line says that the team can win the NFC West this year. Of course it is not true, but it's funny and it shows how the stacked Miami. Now we've sucked out of the way, let's dive into some real analysis.
While I believe Miami has the best collection of talent on one team, I do not think they are the best football team ever in college. They blew most of their opponents, but they had close calls on the road against Virginia Tech and Boston College. Nebraska is really overmatched in the championship game and Miami is the recipient of the year in which no other team undefeated.
Just walk down the few teams that has stood out, the '95 Nebraska team dominated their opponents more than Miami did, the same as '71 Nebraska team. And if you want to dominance, the 1956 Oklahoma team that went 10-0 shutout six opponents. Miami may have the most impressive list of names, but they are not the most dominant in the field.
